CARSON, California — The focus for any youth national team is building around a core group and then finding new pieces to add to that group. For the U.S. U20 Women’s National Team, there is a massive opportunity upcoming to grow and shape the roster with a few camps and international fixtures on the horizon.
This is following last week’s camp, which included the U19 age group as well. The coaching staff and some scouts on hand had a look at the big picture with this player pool with nearly 50 players eligible for the next U20 Women’s World Cup on hand.
The camp ended on Friday with scrimmages against USC and UCLA. TopDrawerSoccer was on hand for the scrimmages. Below are some of the players that stood out from the games.
