DALLAS — The second day at Dallas Cup offered a bevy of high-flying performances. Here's a selection of a few top players from Monday's action and what they did to take their claim as up-and-coming starlets on the world stage.
M Yahir Pena Lopez, Lobos BUAP U-17: A left-footed left wing who was very good taking set pieces. He grew into the game and put his stamp on the match in a 2-0 win against Placer United’s 99B.
D Jason Diaz, TSSF 99/00: Got into passing lanes to cut off the opposition’s forays forward and played some very nice through balls.
