TDS Combines: Super Y RSS Reg. III Girls XI
This year our TDS Combine series partnered with Super Y League’s Regional Scouting Series to provide a combine for all players selected. We visited Region I, II and III on Saturday, August 15 were talent was in abundance and flocks of college coaches were in attendance
Here is the Girls Best XI from Region III:
G Olivia Mitrovich – Mitrovich put in an outstanding performance at the combine. She has a strong physical presence, directs well and was smart with her distribution. She is fantastic 1v1, makes herself big and hard to beat and is brave when coming out for crosses.
D Camerin Dillingham – Dillingham is a solid defender – hard to beat, tough in the tackle and athletically sound. In possession she kept things simple.
D Abigail Atwell – Atwell was one of the best distributers out of the back. Technically very gifted, she is a good leader at the back and a smart 1v1 defender.
D Sophia Pisello – Pisello is a reliable defender, who made smart decisions on and off the ball throughout the day. A solid all round player, physically, technically and tactically.
D Samaria Carpenter – Carpenter much like Pisello is a solid and reliable player, everything you need from a defender. She is good in the air and confident playing out of the back.
M Elena Guerra – Guerra showed great technical ability with simple passes in the midfield, constantly connecting play and sitting in the middle. She found pockets of space with smart bursts forward past the strikers.
M Simone Guerra – Guerra is more of an attacking threat then a connecting player in the middle. She pushes forward a lot, almost in the #10 role and creates a lot of chances for herself and her team mates.
M Emily Kwak – Kwak is a solid possession based midfielder. She sits in the middle connects play, keeps things ticking and left the combine with a very high pass completion ratio.
M Maddison Bondon – Bondon is strong in the tackle, good in the air and connects well. She whipped in some good balls to the forwards and was constantly involved.
F Shea Bonacci – Bonacci is a class forward. Tehcnically one of the top players at the combine, she has speed and strength, and fights on and off the ball to create chances. She always looked dangerous in front of goal, and hit the target consistently.
F La Shanti Williams – Williams, has speed, a good first touch and knows where the goal is. She made some great dynamic runs to create space and opportunities for herself and much like Bonnacci, she constantly looked dangerous in front of goal.
