Texas freshman and Top 150 recruit commits

Midfielder Avery Chaney, a freshman at [Louis D. Brandeis tx-w] High School and part of the Lonestar SC (ECNL) program, has committed to join Texas Tech with the class of 2020.
The midfielder has a U.S. U14 Girls National Team camp on her resume, getting called up last March. Chaney turned in a star performance at a TDS Unsigned Showcase in Dallas back in December 2016.

Ranked at No. 69 in the 2020 IMG Academy Top 150, Chaney plays for Lonestar SC’s U15 side in the ECNL. The team’s done well so far this season, posting a record of 10-1-3, good for second place in the Texas Conference.
Chaney is the first verbal commitment to join Texas Tech in 2020.
