The U.S. Under-17 Men’s National Team’s World Cup run ended on Saturday in a 4-1 loss against England.
It was a score line that flattered the victors to an extent, although England certainly came away as deserved winners. Despite winning a knockout game for the first time since 1999, the team wasn’t able to secure a marquee win that would’ve provided a nice jolt for a U.S. program still reeling from missing the full World Cup.
