Top 100 player returns from Russia to commit
April 11, 2011

The big name to drop in today’s commitment report is Empire United SA’s Jackie Firenze. The No. 100 ranked player in our 2012 Top 100 list, Firenze is taking her talents to Boston University.

The Terriers were one of many top programs who had piqued the interest of Firenze. When we spoke to her back in February she indicated she was considering Boston along with schools such as Penn State, Syracuse and Colgate.

A dynamic midfielder, Firenze is coming off a trip to Russia where she played for the 93 Region 1 ODP team in the International Kuban Spring Russian Tournament last month.
