Trying to stand out among the 26 best players in the country over the course of a week is no easy task, but that was the goal for every player during the most recent U.S. U17 Women’s National Team camp in Chula Vista, Calif.
No ticket to the next camp is guaranteed so competiveness drives the players, as the best of the best in the nation push each other to get better.
Head coach B.J. Snow was pleased to see that type of atmosphere emerge from the early days of the camp especially from the players who were new to this team at this camp.
