The U.S. U20 Women’s National Team wrapped up its first domestic camp under new head coach Michelle French on Saturday as the group continues with its preparations for the 2014 CONCACAF Championship and World Cup.
The camp coincided with the U23 WNT training, which gave French a chance to see her group against the core of the team that won the 2012 U20 World Cup. The older competition got the best of the experience as the U23s won the game on Tuesday 5-0 and then capped the week with a 3-0 win on Saturday.
There was still plenty for French and her staff to take away from the week in Carson, California.
