U.S. Sides Advance at Pan American Games
Both U.S. sides competing in soccer at the 2023 Pan-American games progressed to the semifinals
USWYNT defeats Argentina
With a youth side deployed against full national teams, the U.S. women's side secured first place in Group B on Saturday with a 4-0 win against Argentina.
Four different goal-scorers found the back of the net: Kendall Bodak, Charlotte Kohler, Amalia Villarreal and Grace Restovich tallied to make it three wins in three group games.
Up next for the women's side is Chile on October 31.

USMYNT top Columbia
Competing in an Under-22 competition, the U.S. defeated Columbia by a 2-0 score, finishing in second place in Group B and advancing to the semifinals.
Substitute Rodrigo Neri and forward Tega Ikoba supplied both of the goals as the U.S. bounced back from an opening stage defeat against Brazil to advance.
Like the U.S. women, Chile awaits next for the men's side on Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 4 p.m. ET.
