U.S. U17 MNT opens tourney with big win
The U.S. U17 Men’s National Team continued its impressive run of form in international competition on Thursday with a 5-0 win over Montenegro at the Josip Katalinski International Tournament in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina.
LA Galaxy Academy forward Haji Wright scored four goals and Monterrey striker Joe Gallardo added the other tally. The U.S. returns to the field tomorrow for a game against a Sarajevo Select team. The final game of the tournament is on Sunday.
