For the first time since 2019, the U.S. Under-17 Men’s National Team is set to compete at a World Cup.
The biennial youth tournament was canceled in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and this year’s edition is set to be hosted in Indonesia. Kickoff begins on November 10, with the United States beginning its first game on Sunday, November 12.
The U.S. squad has spent the past two weeks in Bali, traveling to Jakarta this past Tuesday to finalize preparations. A pair of friendlies against Poland and Canada were also arranged.
Here’s a preview of what lies ahead at the tournament for the United States.
