Now that head coach Tab Ramos and the U.S. U20 Men’s National Team have secured a spot in this year’s World Cup, focus begins on fashioning a final roster for the competition.
Scheduled to kick off on May 20, there is a little more than two months to go until the competition begins.
Ramos now faces the question of which players to replace from his qualifying roster. Availability of players based in Europe could open the door for a number of changes, as a number of age-eligible youngsters dot clubs around the continent. One player unlikely to take part is Christian Pulisic, as he’s now considered a member of the full team.
The player pool should open up, with these 14 names among those likely to come into contention for Ramos.
