The US Youth Soccer National Championships provided a week-long parade of some of the top girls soccer talent in the country. GK Kaylan Marckese, Tampa Bay United U17: In five games in Tulsa, TB United managed the nearly unbelievable task of shutting out every team it faced. The entire defense deserves its due, but Marckese was its core. The South Florida pledge was unnaturally fast to the ball, and the fact that she didn’t let in a single goal over the breadth of the tournament was a testament to her consistency.
