USYNT midfielder signs with Bayern Munich
Yet another young American player is set to try his luck in Germany.
U.S. Under-17 World Cup veteran Taylor Booth signed a three-and-a-half year contract with Bayern Munich, the club announced on Thursday.
Booth joins a growing North American contingent at Bayern, who signed Chris Richards on a permanent deal earlier this year, and former MLS standout Alphonso Davies.

"I'm very happy with this next step in my career," Booth said in a release. "FC Bayern is one of the largest clubs in the world. Being here in Munich at the FC Bayern campus and taking the next steps in my development makes me very proud."
A longtime fixture of various U.S. youth national teams, Booth made the U17 World Cup roster for the 2017 edition of the competition in India, playing two games, both in the knockout rounds. He's been involved with the RSL Academy prior to the current season, making 23 appearances from 2015-2018 -- though a lot of his absences were due to being in the U.S. Soccer Residency program in Brandenton, Florida.
He is the No. 7 ranked player in the 2019 Boys IMG Academy Top 150.
