U.S. Soccer is starting up Youth National Team Regional Identification for the new club season with the first event scheduled for Dallas, Texas on September 14. U.S. Soccer scouts identified 30 players in the 2006 (and 2007) age group for the event. 

Mirelle van Rijbroek, U.S. Soccer Talent ID Director, is overseeing the event. Katie Cole, Bryan Thompson, and Fleur Benatar are also working the event. FC Dallas leads the way with eight players called into the event. Solar has seven players attending the one-day identification center.
