2015 Houston Cougar Signing Class
Head Coach Chris Pfau and the Houston Cougar soccer program have announced the signing of five student-athletes to National Letters of Intent on day one of the current signing period.
Houston has signed forward/midfielders Desiree Bowen and Lauren Flowers as well as midfielder Sydney Daubendiek and defenders Kat Fylling and Hayley Hubbard.
The signing period would continue throughout the week and conclude on Wednesday, Feb. 4.
DESIREE BOWEN
Suwanee, Georgia (Collins Hill HS) | 5'4" | Forward/Midfield
High School: Four year letterwinner for coach Jeff Tinklepaugh at Collins Hill High School...Helped lead the Eagles to three consecutive playoff appearances...Was named offensive MVP of her team for her sophomore season...Helped her team compile a 39-18-3 record in her first three high school season
Club: Played club soccer for the Concorde Fire 97 ECNL from 2010 until present...Led her ECNL team in goals and assists for the past three seasons...Was a ECNL PDP Southeast Selection in 2014...Played two seasons for GA Soccer ODP where she made the First Team Region Camp
Personal: Full name is Desiree A. Bowen...Daughter of Timothy and Sharla Richardson...Born June 24, 1997...Has one younger brother, Tyler (2)...Intends on majoring in Pharmacy...Enjoys crafting in her spare time

High School: Has played three years for Chris Vanduin at Rancho Cucamonga High School and has helped lead the Cougars to nationally ranked seasons in each of those campaigns...Captained her team during her junior and senior seasons
