2017 MLS Draft Rewind
The MLS Draft remains as unpredictable as ever, and on the verge of a new season, a number of college stars from last fall are on the brink of beginning a professional career.
In all there were 81 players that had their named call in the four-round draft, but that day was far from a guarantee of earning a contract.
Below is a look back at the draft to see which players have earned an MLS contract, and those that didn't.
First Round

3. F Jonathan Lewis, New York City FC – Signed a Generation adidas deal.
4. F Jeremy Ebobisse, Portland Timbers – Signed a Generation adidas deal.
5. D Lalas Abubakar, Columbus Crew SC – Signed with the club.
6. M Jackson Yueill, San Jose Earthquakes – Signed a Generation adidas deal.
7. D Jake Nerwinski, Vancouver Whitecaps FC – Signed with the club.
8. M Julian Gressel, Providence – Signed with the club.
9. F Niko Hansen, Columbus Crew SC – Signed with the club.
10. M Joe Holland, Houston Dynamo – Signed with the club.
11. M Daniel Johnson, Chicago Fire – Signed with the club.
12. D Chris Odoi-Atsem, D.C. United – Signed with the club.
13. D Reagan Dunk, Real Salt Lake – Signed with the club.
14. D Colton Storm, Sporting KC – Signed with the club.
15. M Sam Hamilton, Colorado Rapids – Still with the club, though no signing announced.
16. M Kwame Awuah, New York City FC – Signed with the club.
17. M Zeiko Lewis, New York Red Bulls – Signed with the club.
18. M Jacori Hayes, FC Dallas – Signed with the club.
19. F Nick DePuy, Montreal Impact – Signed with the club.
20. F Brian Wright, New England Revolution – Signed with the club.
