2022 NWSL Draft Rankings
Twelve days after the end of the Women's NCAA Division I season, the 2022 NWSL Draft is set to take place.
This week, the league announced the list of players registered for the draft. With the NCAA granting an extra year of eligibility, some of the top prospects that could've been available are set to return to school. Others that were drafted in the spring and played this fall, NWSL teams that drafted them kept their rights until the start of 2022 preseason. Players that declared for the 2021 draft and didn't get picked had their Discovery Rights available -- such as BYU standout Cameron Tucker, who was signed by Gotham FC this week.
With that in mind, the pool of available players is missing some names that could have ended up getting picked close to the top. There is still a decent level of talent available. Below is the TDS Top 30 of players from the list. International talent has been pushed down, but could certainly play a factor.
