The latest edition of the Major League Soccer Draft is set for Friday, December 20 at 2 p.m. EST.

This year's crop of draft-eligible players from the college game are similar to past seasons. It is full of older internationals, talented young Americans and with the strongest positions along the back line.

Four players have left school early and will be selected with a Generation adidas contract in hand: Alex Harris (Cornell), Manu Duah (UC Santa Barbara), Dean Boltz (Wisconsin) and Tate Johnson (North Carolina). Defender Max Floriani is the lone pre-signed senior, per an MLS announcement.

Projecting the draft is always impossible, though sources indicate that Manu Duah is expected to be selected No. 1 overall. Max Floriani has heavily been linked at the second spot to the San Jose Earthquakes.
