The United State Under-20 Women’s National Team begins its quest to qualify for this year’s youth World Cup on Saturday with the Concacaf Championship kicking off in the Dominican Republic.
Head coach Laura Harvey named a 20-player roster on Thursday, and the team will spend this week preparing for a tight schedule. Only two spots from Concacaf are up for grabs, with Costa Rica and Panama co-hosting this year’s edition of the tournament.
