Following an evenly played opening 27 minutes, Whiteman struck twice in just 3:46 to stake the Black Knights to a commanding lead. He opened the scoring when he headed in a corner kick from Keenan O’Shea, and then finished another header at the far post moments later off a feed from Zac McGraw.
Siena will look to conclude its four-match homestand on a high note when the Saints host Sacred Heart Saturday at 3 p.m.
