Beavers Tie Missour, Remain Unbeaten
September 4, 2015
COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Oregon State women’s soccer team tied Missouri 0-0 on Friday and remained undefeated through the first four games of the season.
The Beavers were outshot 13-3 but goalie Bella Geist had three saves and recorded her second shutout of the season and the fifth of her career.
The Beavers (3-0-1) are off to their best start since the 2012 club won its first four games of the season. Their all-time best start was in 2010, when they won their first five games.
OSU concludes its road trip at 5 p.m. Sunday against Kansas at Rock Chalk Park in Lawrence, Kan. It’s the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
