Bucs Edged By Lions
MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The Barry men’s soccer were edged 4-2 by the Saint Leo Lions in a non-Sunshine State Conference match at Buccaneer Field on Tuesday night.
The Bucs (3-8-0) fell behind 3-0, but Kendall Sealy created two outstanding chances and Thomas Coombes and Kris Wilkinson finished them to trim the lead to 3-2 with just under 40 minutes to play.
Unfortunately, Bruno Da Silva struck for the Lions (5-4-0) in the 88th minute to ice the game.
Manuel Schoenhuber made one save for the Lions to pick up the win. Fred Perez made three saves for the Bucs and Michael Dodds backed him up with a pair of defensive stops of his own.
The Bucs travel to Nova Southeastern on Saturday at 5:00 pm.
