It was Saturday's UCLA-North Carolina clash that brought the most dramatic scences. With the Tar Heels holding a 2-0 lead in the second half, thanks to goals from Julia Ashley and Dorian Bailey, the Bruins struck twice in a minute through Hailie Mace. When neither side broke the deadlock -- North Carolina outshot the Bruins 7-1 in the two overtime periods -- penalty kicks were needed to decide it. And the Tar Heels came through, beating the Pac-12 side 4-2 in the shootout.
What. A. Match.

Georgetown will face North Carolina in Friday's semifinal after dominating Baylor on Saturday. Kyra Carusa was at the heart of all three goals. She scored the second and setup the other two tallies, leading the Hoyas back to the College Cup on the back of a 3-0 victory.
Stanford, Florida State setup clash in Cary
Friday's first semifinal matchup will be a repeat of the 2014 College Cup when Stanford takes on Florida State. The Cardinal managed to lock down Tennessee's talented attack, while Catarina Macario scored and assisted on both goals in a 2-0 win.
It was a moment of magic that nudged Seminoles past a tough Penn State side. Florida State forward Deyna Castellanos unleashed a 20-yard shot in the 53rd minute that proved to be enough. The ACC side's defense locked things down and Caroline Jeffers made two saves
