College Player Rankings: Midseason Update
The women’s college season is flying by and so today we announce our Midseason Update for the TopDrawerSoccer.com National Top 100, along with the Conference Top 20s for DI women’s college soccer.
The rankings update our preseason lists. The final update will be produced in the postseason. This list is for sophomores through seniors only. A separate top 100 list for freshmen will be unveiled next week.
The updates reflect playing performances along with various adjustments in playing time due to injuries and other reasons. The rankings are based on a wide gathering of information from those observing the college soccer scene most closely, plus publicly available statistics, conference awards and match reports.
North Carolina midfielder and youth national team veteran Amber Brooks remains our #1 player on the women’s side. She is followed closely by Christine Nairn of Penn State, Kristen Mewis of Boston College, Julie Johnston of Santa Clara and Adrianna Franch of Oklahoma State.
For the complete listing, go to our Midseason College Women's National Top 100 page.
For the conference updates, go to our College Women's Conference Top 20 page.
A similar update for men’s college soccer will be published later this week. Freshmen will be listed next week.
