Louisville 2, Xavier 0 (Sept. 14)
Two goals within seven minutes of one another secured a win for the Cardinals in a closely contest matchup featuring a handful of intriguing prospects. Louisville scored with its first two shots on goal of the night, and seized control soon thereafter.
Four seniors were in the starting lineup for Louisville: goalkeeper Stefan Cleveland, midfielders Daniel Johnson, Romilio Hernandez and defender Michael DeGraffenreidt.
