Colombie A USLPDL 2018 Top College Prospect
TAMPA BAY, FL – The Premier Development League has announced the first edition of the Top College Prospects List. Senior forward Killian Colombie of the Iona College men's soccer program is among the 50 student-athletes on the initial list. He is the lone representative from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.
Over the summer, the Gael attacker played for the Albion Hurricanes FC Royals based out of Houston, TX in the Premier Developmental League (USLPDL) Mid-South Division. He led the team and tied for the conference-best with 10 goals. His five assists were a team-best and ranked second in the league. Colombie's efforts helped the Royals to a 7-7-0, third place finish. The Royals were one of three teams with a goal differential of zero.
Colombie has appeared in 54 career games with Iona, making 31 starts. He has scored eight goals, four of which came as a sophomore in 2016. Colombie has three career assists. 40.8% of his shots have been on goal and two of his scores have been game winners.

While 41 of the players named hail from NCAA Division I universities, eight come from NCAA Division II schools - including Lander, which hosts both Rich Bryan and Jordan Skelton from Mississippi Brilla FC - and one athlete, Nikola Fimic of the OKC Energy U23, hails from NAIA school Oklahoma Wesleyan.
The Top College Prospects list features the 50 top college-based individuals who have competed in the PDL. The list will evolve over the course of the fall, with biweekly updates on Tuesdays allowing players to raise their stock and earn recognition based on their collegiate play.
The Iona College men's soccer team begins its season at LIU Brooklyn on Friday, Aug. 24. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 PM.
