Cowgirls Return on the Road
The University of Wyoming women’s soccer team (7-6-1, 5-1-0 MW) will return on the road at Fresno State and San Jose State this weekend. The Cowgirls will play Fresno State on Friday at 7 p.m. MT and Sunday at San Jose State at noon. The Cowgirls are coming off two-consecutive wins this past weekend at home against Colorado College and Air Force. UW’s freshman forward Kaitlyn Lomsnes scored three of her team-leading six goals last weekend and has three assists on the season.
“Fresno is 2-1 in its last three games and San Jose has some good results at home,” UW head coach Pete Cuadrado said. “Every Mountain West game is a tough game, especially when you get on the road. We will approach every game with a business mentality and bring the same level of play to each game.”
