Deacs' Tuesday Match at Campbell Cancelled
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- The Wake Forest men's soccer team's scheduled match for Tuesday, Oct. 13, against Campbell in Buies Creek, North Carolina, has been cancelled due to a scheduling issue for Campbell following last week's severe weather conditions and will not be made up.
On Sunday, Oct. 4, Campbell's Big South Conference matchup against Coastal Carolina in Conway, South Carolina, was postponed due to weather conditions. With the need to play the conference match, Tuesday's match against the Demon Deacons was forced to be cancelled.
The Demon Deacons return to action on Saturday night, Oct. 17, to start the final homestand of the season when they take on the North Carolina Tar Heels. First kick between the Deacs and Heels is set for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN3.
