FGCU Changes Home Game vs. UCF: 9/20 to 9/19
FORT MYERS, Fla. – The FGCU men’s soccer team’s home contest against UCF originally scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 20, has been moved to Tuesday, Sept. 19.
The contest will still be played at the FGCU Soccer Complex, and will begin at the originally-scheduled time of 7 p.m.
Fans who have already purchased tickets to the game and are now unable to attend because of the date change will be allowed to redeem their ticket(s) for another home men’s soccer game of their choosing this season, or will receive a refund.
The matchup with UCF will be the penultimate contest in a season-high four-game homestand for FGCU after the Green and Blue commence the year with four-straight matches away from Southwest Florida.
FGCU – which opened at #15 in the preseason polls – began the season last weekend with a pair of games in Colorado against then-#3 Denver and Air Force. The Eagles head to Vermont for two more contests this weekend before their home opener on Sunday, Sept. 10, at 7 p.m. against VCU.
