Pac-12 produces three No. 1 teams in 2014
There are wild years, and then there’s the Pac-12 in 2014. Washington(m) was the first to climb to No. 1 in the nation earlier this fall, but that only lasted as long as it took UCLA(m) to trek up to Seattle. A 2-1 Bruins win three weeks ago pushed UCLA(m) to the top of the men’s heap, but that didn’t last long either. After a 0-1-1 week last week, UCLA dropped back into the pack to allow Stanford(m), which hasn’t lost since a 3-1 setback against Washington on Oct. 5, to climb to No. 1, where the Cardinal are today.
