FLYERS POST FIRST SHUT OUT

DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton women's soccer team (6-3-0) posted its first shutout of the season with its 3-0 victory over Wright State (3-2-3) Friday night at Baujan Field in front of 1,365 fans.
Senior Colleen Williams scored the game winner, and freshmen Nicole Waters and Ashley Campbell each scored as well. Junior Jordin Melchert had three saves in goal for the Flyers to help preserve the shutout. WSU goalkeeper Brooke McCurdy had 13 saves.
UD had 34 shots to WSU's eight shots.
