Lena Silano couldn't quite believe that she'd scored. Her Long Beach State teammate, Elysia Laramie had beat a defender with a smooth bit of skill, but her cross into the area appeared to be just behind Silano. So, Silano improvised, raising one leg over the over, hooking a bicycle kick into the net. Her reaction was one of disbelief, her mouth agape as she turned to her team in shock. It was a rare strike, the kind of shot that could so easily have gone wrong. it's also our goal of the week.
