Guirassy & Pujades Rank in NCAA Statistics
INDIANAPOLIS—NJIT men's soccer standouts Mamadou Guirassy and Victor Pujades rank in the top three in their respective categories, rankings tied for first (Guirassy) in total goals and tied for third (Pujades) in shutouts in the Division I report released by the NCAA Statistics service for games played through September 4.
Guirassy, who ranks tied for third among the NCAA in total goals (5), was selected ASUN Conference Player of the Week, scoring all five Highlander goals, including two game-winners, earning his first career ASUN Player of the Week award.
He leads the ASUN in goals (5) and points (10) and has notched a goal in three-out-of-four games this season for NJIT.

Pujades, the Highlanders starting keeper, ranks tied for third among the NCAA in shutouts (3). He collected his second career ASUN Defensive Player of the Week award after recording two shutouts and keeping the Highlanders (3-0-1) the only undefeated team in the ASUN.
He leads the ASUN in goals against average (0.50), save percentage (.846).
