Hawaii women lose to Fullerton

FULLERTON, Calif. – The University of Hawai‘i Rainbow Wahine soccer team (1-5-1) fell to the Cal State Fullerton Titans (2-4-1) 1-0 at Titan Stadium Wednesday.
The Rainbow Wahine lost despite six shots on goal to CSUF’s three. Britta Bourne led all players with three shots, including one on goal.
In the 22nd minute, Titan Danielle Bitanti scored off a throw in, giving Cal State Fullerton the 1-0 edge.
UH would manage five shots on goal after giving up the Titan goal, but couldn’t muster anything, falling by the final of 1-0.
The Rainbow Wahine will play at Cal State Northridge on Sept. 18, at 4 p.m., before concluding their trip at Cal State Bakersfield on Sept. 20, at 7 p.m.
