The men’s College Cup is an unusually wide open event. Unlike, say, the men’s basketball tournament, the odds are shockingly even. The No. 1 seed might as well have been replaced in those odds by a No. 8 seed, the No. 6 seed beat the No. 2 seed it is about to play less than a month ago, and everything is up for grabs.
What follows are scenarios for each of the four teams left in which they could either win or lose this weekend in Kansas City. The plausibility of each is staggering.
