HURRICANE IRENE FORCES SOCCER AND VOLLEYBALL SCHEDULE CHANGES
DOVER, Del. – The incoming severe weather that is believed to hit the east coast in the next few days has forced schedule changes for the Delaware State University women’s soccer and volleyball teams.
The volleyball team was originally scheduled to play Stetson, Bucknell and William and Mary in the Tribe Invitational in Williamsburg, Va. This tournament has been cancelled as the William and Mary campus is being evacuated for the weekend.
Additionally, the women’s soccer game at Drexel slated for Sunday afternoon has been moved to Monday at 6 p.m. The match will still be held on the Drexel campus in Philadelphia, Pa.
Tomorrow’s soccer game at St. Peter’s is currently scheduled to take place at 4 p.m. in Jersey City, N.J.
