Huskies fall to Terriers, 2-0

The Northeastern women’s soccer team suffered its first loss of the season against crosstown rival Boston University, 2-0, Sunday night at Nickerson Field.
The Terriers (1-0-1), coming off a tie against fourth-ranked Boston College, scored in the fourth minute off a rebound to take the early lead.
Boston University took a 2-0 lead in the 64th minute when forward Jessica Luscinki scored on a shot from just outside the penalty area.
The Huskies (1-1-0) were unable to break through the stout defense of the Terriers. Freshman goalkeeper Paige Burnett made six stops, playing all 90 minutes.
Northeastern is now 2-10-1 all-time against Boston University. The Huskies defeated the Terriers in their previous meeting in 2009, 1-0.
