Indiana University head men’s soccer coach Todd Yeagley announced today that Rece Buckmaster (Auburn, Ind.), Sean Caulfield (East Lake, Fla.), Jeremiah Gutjahr (Bloomington, Ind.), Andrew Gutman (Hinsdale, Ill.), Jordan Kleyn (Plainfield, Ind.) and Sam Stockton (Louisville, Ky.) have chosen to continue their soccer careers with the Hoosiers.

Career highlights of the six players include U.S. U-17 and U.S. U-18 Men’s National Team camp participant, state champion, all-state, Gatorade State Player of the Year, National Honor Society and NSCAA All-America honors. Three of the six signees hail from the state of Indiana, with two others coming from bordering states.

“I am really excited about this group of eight,” Yeagley said. “It is a balanced group with two goalkeepers and six field players. With positional needs we feel like we have been able to fill those areas, specifically the left back and midfield spots that will soon be or have graduated. 

“More importantly there is great character in this class. We see a great work ethic and leadership. Overall I think this group is going to fit in nice with what we have and fight for quality minutes from day one.” 

The six newcomers join Cody Jewett (Puyallup, Wash.) and Austin Panchot (St. Louis, Mo.) in the 2015 class. Jewett and Panchot were January enrollees at Indiana.
