This week’s men’s Five Things morphs into tournament attack mode. The DI tourney is now two rounds old, providing us plenty of fodder to pick over.
ACC proving dominance
The ACC unsurprisingly put seven teams in the NCAA tourney. It’s a big conference, after all, and its depth was tested and, unlike the Pac-12 this season, came out of the fire with few scorch marks. But two rounds in and even some ACC diehards are a bit surprised at the level of dominance the league’s displayed to this point. Through the first two rounds of the dance, ACC teams are a combined 8-1. Defending national champ Virginia is the only team to lose so far, but everyone else is still alive.
