Kobeissi, Fiorido Score In Titan Road Win
MIDLAND, Mich. (10/9/2018) -- Freshman Nasreen Kobeissi and senior Carly Fiorido provided the offense and senior Marina Manzo made four stops on defense as the University of Detroit Mercy women's soccer team blanked Northwood on the road, 2-0, on Tuesday evening.
The goal was the first in Kobeissi's collegiate career, while Fiorido notched her fourth of the season.
Fiorido also added an assist in the match as she set up Kobeissi's marker in the 12th minute to give the Titans a 1-0 lead at the break. A little more than 10 minutes into the second half, she did it all herself raising her career high to four goals beating the keeper in the 56th minute.
