BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh women's soccer team has garnered an NSCAA Academic Award for the 11th time in the last 12 seasons, as announced on Monday. The Mountain Hawks posted an impressive team grade point average of 3.43 during the 2013-14 school year, well above the minimum requirement of 3.0. Lehigh University was one of just 188 schools (across all divisions) to see both its men's and women's teams recognized.
 
In total, 582 women's teams in the nation across Division I, II and III were honored with the award.
 
The Mountain Hawks continued to impress in the classroom in 2014. Junior Paige Elliott was named an Academic All-Patriot League honoree while becoming one of just two Patriot League players to earn Academic All-District. She owns a stellar 3.99 cumulative GPA as a Chemical Engineering major. The graduating class of 2015 has combined for an average GPA of 3.60. Another of those seniors, Darby Dustman, received Academic All-League laurels in 2012.
 
Lehigh ended its season with a 4-7-5 record and 2-3-4 mark in the league. The Mountain Hawks made history, posting their longest-ever unbeaten streak to begin league play (six). They tied defending Patriot League champion Boston University and finished the season with six shutouts.
