Lehigh travels to Boston U for Sat. showdown
BETHLEHEM, Pa - Eying its first Patriot League victory, the Lehigh women's soccer team heads to Massachusetts on Saturday to face new league opponent Boston University at 1 p.m. The Mountain Hawks have dropped three one-goal games to begin league play, but still have six league contests remaining. The Terriers enter with a 7-3-1 overall record, moving from the America East where they were perennial powers.

The Mountain Hawks are coming off a hard-fought 1-0 loss to Lafayette on Wednesday. The Leopards struck in the 30th minute which proved to be the difference. Lehigh pressured and held the edge in shots and shots on goal, but couldn't put one in the back of the net as the Mountain Hawks fell to 2-6-2 overall and 0-3-0 in league play.
The Terriers are 2-1-0 in league play, falling at Navy in their opener before beating Army and Holy Cross. They're coming off a 3-0 victory over the Crusaders on Wednesday, improving to an impressive 5-0-1 on their home field. Boston University's other two losses came to Boston College and 2012 National Finalist Penn State, both by 1-0 finals.
Madison Clemens leads the team in scoring with four goals and eight points. Erica Kosienski has posted six points (three goals) and Taylor Krebs and Jenna Fisher have four (one goal, two assists apiece).
Andrea Green has started 10 games and has a 0.42 GAA and .871 save percentage while Alyssa Parisi has played in three games, starting one, with a 0.58 GAA and .800 save percentage.
Saturday will mark the first-ever meeting between Lehigh and Boston University.
Following the weekend, Lehigh hosts Loyola, another new league opponent, next Saturday (Oct. 12) at 7 p.m. at the Ulrich Sports Complex.
