NEW ROCHELLE, NY - Former Iona College men's soccer player Taurean Manders has been selected to represent Bermuda in the 2014 CONCACAF Second Round World Cup Qualifier between Bermuda and Trinidad and Tobago.
As reported in an article by www.islandstats.com, Manders will make his appearance in the September 2nd match to be played at 4:30 pm (7:30 pm Bermuda time) at the Hasely Crawford Stadium. While Manders has played for Bermuda at the youth national team level and in friendlies, this will be his first appearance in a game that has competitive implications toward Bermuda's bid to the FIFA World Cup 2014.
