The Huskies also benefit from Notre Dame’s unexpected loss to Boston College. The Irish slip to No 5 in the Top 25 heading into week seven.

Creighton creeps up to No. 2 in the Top 25 following victories over UMKC and Seton Hall. The Jays face Drake and Butler this week.

Syracuse leaps into the No. 3 spot after another shutout victory last week. The Orange beat Virginia Tech 1-0 and improved to 9-1 on the season and 3-1 in conference play.

Penn State checks in at No. 4 after a pair of shutout wins last week. The Nittany Lions beat Bucknell 2-0 and Rutgers 1-0. The Big Ten program is 10-0-1 on the season.
