The men’s Division I season continues with more wild results last week. Here are five things we’ve learned from the games.
1. West Virginia, soccer state
The much-anticipated matchup between West Virginia and Marshall last Friday delivered. Even if the team split the points. Making the trip to Huntington, WVU showed grit and pluck to come away with the 2-2 draw. Both sides will walk away having perceived a win was attainable; Marshall had a couple of set piece opportunities in overtimes, while West Virginia hit the bar with the score tied in regulation.
