Men's Soccer Hosting Homecoming Lunch
NEW ROCHELLE, NY – The Iona College men's soccer team has announced a homecoming lunch on Saturday, Oct. 20 that will take place prior and during the program's afternoon contest against the Siena Saints at Mazzella Field.
The homecoming lunch will take place in the Robert B. LaPenta Student Union building in "The Endzone." The room is enclosed and also leads directly out to a balcony that oversees the field.
There will be a free lunch provided on the patio beginning at 11:30 a.m. and it will run through the match that begins at 12:00 p.m. Additionally, a beer truck will be on site throughout the course of the game.
Following the match there will be a chance for the alumni and attendees of the lunch to meet the current student-athletes and coaching staff.
There are a variety of additional athletic events happening on campus that day, including a men's basketball maroon & gold scrimmage, a rugby match against nationally ranked Penn State, and a volleyball match vs. Manhattan.
