There was virtually no separation between the Buckeyes and Stanford, with Trejo making four saves through 110 scoreless minutes of regulation and overtime. That led to penalty kicks where the redshirt junior delivered two clutch saves to lead Ohio State to its first Elite Eight in 17 years.
