Men's Team of the Week: October 7
The player of the week comes courtesy of Drexel as Dominick Bachstein caught fire to lead an offense that scored ten goals over two games.

Bachstein, already having a career year, kicked off the week with a goal and two assists as the Dragons flew past UMBC 5-0. Then came a matchup with No. 8 Hofstra and an opportunity to earn a statement conference win. The Pennsylvania native was again the difference maker with his two goals and two assists, meaning he contributed four in the 5-4 upset. With 20 points this season, the Graduate senior has emerged as one of college soccer’s breakout stars.

GK: Nicholas McCune, Cal Poly - The Cal Poly junior shined with three stops and a clean sheet versus UC Davis, then saved another 5 in an intense 0-0 rivalry draw with UC Santa Barbara, where nearly ten thousand fans attended.
D: Trevor Wright, Denver - Edging closer to his best after missing last season with injury, Weight shined at center back with a goal and two assists in wins over Oral Roberts and St. Thomas.
D: Casper Svendby, Pittsburgh - Svendby continued his streak of four games with an assist as he set up one and scored another in an 8-1 blowout of Howard.
D: Kieran Chandler, Connecticut - The in-state product was the difference with two assists in a 3-0 defeat of Villanova.
M: Martin Bakken, Dayton - George Washington had no answers for Dayton, particularly Bakken, who recorded a hat trick and an assist in the lopsided 7-1 victory.
M: Joran Gerbet, Clemson - In a much-needed ACC win, Gerbet produced his best performance of the season, scoring twice in the 3-2 defeat of No. 9 North Carolina.
M: Dylan Sumner, Mercyhurst - The senior midfielder dominated the week with two goals and two assists in wins over Central Connecticut and Chicago State.
M: Angel Iniguez, San Jose State - Assuring the Spartans defeated Utah Valley, Iniguez took matters into his own hands with two goals and an assist in the 3-2 win.
F: Dominick Bachstein, Drexel - Backstein scored three and assisted four to lead the team to two statement CAA victories.
F: Fumiya Shiraishi, Missouri State - The Japan native was on fire, first recording the lone goal to defeat Creighton 1-0, then adding another two scores plus two assists in a 7-0 defeat of Northern Illinois.
F: Alex Harris, Cornell - No team could contain Harris, who scored and assisted in a 5-2 defeat of Binghamton, then recorded a hat trick in a flawless 3-0 performance versus Dartmouth.
