Men's Team of the Week: September 4
Georgetown needed a statement result after dropping a game to Stanford last time out, and Kyle Linhares stepped up with two goals and an assist to contribute three of four goals in a victory over an eight ranked Pittsburgh team. That earned him player of the week recognition as the senior midfielder showed exceptional leadership qualities.

GK Sam Gomez, SIUE - Gomez is a lock for the team of the week as a key aspect in SIUE defeating Saint Louis and winning their first bronze boot in 41 years. He made two saves in a 2-0 win on Saturday.
D Reid Sproat, San Diego State - SDSU has yet to concede this season, adding to that streak this week with two clean sheets as Sproat played 180 minutes.
D Nikos Clarker-Tosczak, Rhode Island - Another team yet to not concede, Clarker-Tosczak went as far as to contribute an assist while helping secure two clean sheets.
D Carlos Hernando, West Virginia - West Virginia walked out unscathed against two East Coast opponents with a 4-0 combined scoreline as Hernando played 180 minutes.
D Drew Brown, Wisconsin - It would take a great effort to defeat No. 5 Kentucky, and Brown delivered by helping limit a potent attack to four shots and just three on target.
M David Jackson, Navy - Jackson had quite the week as he delivered three goals and three assists in three games.
M Tanner Barry, Brown - Kicking off its season in winning fashion, Barry pitched in two assists for Brown in a 3-1 win last Friday.
M Kyle Linhares, Georgetown - With two goals and one assist against nationally ranked Pittsburgh, Linhares earned his spot on the list.
F Jamar Ricketts, CSUN - CSUN defeated San Diego despite playing a large chunk of the game with ten men thanks to Ricketts and his goal and two assists in the 3-1 win over a ranked opponent.
F Danny Flores, Oral Roberts - First, it was two against Cal Poly, then it was scoring the game-winner to take down arch-rivals Tulsa.
F Malachi Jones, Lipscomb - Lipscomb scored four in the week, and Jones had a hand in three with a goal and two assists.
